Our memorial trees are planted in local community groves as part of pooled conservation efforts. Individual trees are not tagged or visitable to maintain the privacy of families and the natural integrity of the grove. Families are acknowledged collectively, and seasonal updates may be posted on our public website so you can see the impact of your contribution.

Unlike national tree-planting programs where trees are often planted far away, our program plants trees locally, within communities where families live. This creates a meaningful way to honor loved ones while directly contributing to local conservation and community green spaces.

Trees are planted in partnership with experienced landowners and conservation programs to maximize survival rates. While the life of any individual tree cannot be guaranteed, all plantings are maintained under ongoing stewardship, ensuring the grove as a whole flourishes over time.

Families can participate through funeral homes that offer the program, or directly through Living Legacies LLC for eligible memorial contributions. The process is simple: provide the name and optional acknowledgment details for your loved one, and we take care of the planting, logistics, and recognition.

No personal contact information is shared or made public. We may include your loved one’s name for collective acknowledgment on our website if you choose, but individual trees are not tagged, mapped, or otherwise made public. Privacy and respect are our top priorities.
